SoloveyJimmy and Irene Solovey are an energetic, warm and vibrant couple whose love for their Jewish heritage motivates their involvement in a number of community projects.

Irene is a supervisor at Theradynamics Physical & Occupational Therapy, but her superpower is being able to juggle the demands of her job while also being an always-present mom to her four beautiful children – twins Joe and Josh, 17; Justin, 14, and Jessica, 11 — and managing the busy extracurricular activities of her four athletes. Above all, what Irene enjoys most is spending time with her family.

Jimmy is a vice president of business development for Smartlinx Solutions, a company he co-founded in 2000 to address the growing needs of the healthcare industry. In 18 years, Smartlinx has amassed more than 4,000 clients, and Jimmy believes the key to the company’s success is the ability to keep current in the fast- changing industry. Jimmy is well known for his engaging presentations and personal approach, and has been honored by Parker Jewish Institute for Healthcare & Rehabilitation.

Jimmy holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Rutgers University, where he was a Division 1 volleyball player. He also holds a master’s degree in public administration from Long Island University.

Jimmy and Irene moved to Holmdel in 2010 and established a strong bond with Chabad Jewish Center of Holmdel. Their children were the first students of the Hebrew School and the couple encouraged other families to enroll their children. The Solovey kids are active in Cteen and the Linking Hearts program. Joe, Josh and Justin celebrated their Bar Mitzvahs with Chabad.

Jimmy and Irene are natural community leaders who pour their hearts and souls into helping others. They are the pillars of Chabad’s success.
