The Sefer Torah is a scroll that the Jewish people have read and learned from, for over 3,000 years. Also referred to as the “Five Books of Moses” and the Torah is considered the prize possession of the “People of the Book”. This most cherished and essential text has kept Judaism and the Jewish nation alive and vibrant.

At Chabad, we believe that every Jew is precious. In our tradition the Jewish people are likened to the letters of the Torah. No letter is more important than the other. All the letters of The Holy Torah are interdependent, for without even one letter, the Torah is rendered incomplete. Similarly each and every Jew is a vital link in the unbreakable and everlasting chain that is the Jewish people. Even with a single link missing, we are not whole, only together we are complete.

Link yourself with the Jewish community by participating in the writing and completion of this sacred Torah scroll. Each part of the Torah letters, words, chapters and portions can be dedicated in honor of or in memory of your loved one. In making this contribution you will be participating in this incredible mitzvah of writing a Sefer Torah, and whenever it is read and learned from, your commitment to Judaism and the Jewish faith will be remembered.
